A list of who is who in our Pharmacy and Healthcare Services division along with which frameworks they oversee and their areas of focus.

With Steven Albery joining the team and Richard Dixon-Ramsey returning from leave, we felt it would be helpful to signpost you to the individual procurement specialists in our expanded Pharmacy and Healthcare Services team who look after specific frameworks and areas of focus.

Joe Bassett, Assistant Director of Procurement – Pharmacy and Healthcare Services

Oversees the division.  He is the regional homecare specialist for the East of England, works with a handful of systems and NHSE on enteral feeds and is Chair of the National Homecare Medicines Committee.

  • Unlicensed imported medicines

Steven Albery, Procurement Specialist – Pharmacy and Healthcare Services

  • Specialist Pharmacy Courier Services
  • Aseptic Isolators (new framework due to launch soon)

Areas of focus:

  • Engagement with mental health and community trusts, to determine what more we can do to support you
  • Engagement with trusts and suppliers about pharmaceutical packaging to gauge appetite for doing things differently
  • Working towards tackling over-labelled packaging.
